Family Medicine

Family medicine includes providers who specialize in diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing wellness care of patients of all ages. Here at Mid-State we have three different types of clinicians offering family medicine:

• Medical Doctors (MD)
• Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Advance Practice Registered Nurses (APRN)

Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. Family providers offer a full range of services in the primary care setting with a focus on continuing and comprehensive health care for the individual and family across all ages, genders, diseases, and parts of the body. Our Family Medicine Providers focus on their knowledge of the patient, emphasizing disease prevention and health promotion.

All of our providers are focused on providing a personal, comprehensive and continuing care for the individual patient.
