Mid-State Health is pleased to introduce Jennifer Michaud, CMHC, as the newest member of its growing Behavioral Health Team. A dedicated Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Jennifer brings a patient-centered relationship-based approach to care, one that aligns seamlessly with Mid-State’s mission of providing accessible, whole-person healthcare to the communities it serves.
Jennifer strives to form deep, trusting connections with her patients. Her work is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and mutual respect, making her an ideal addition to a team committed to compassionate behavioral health care.
With a unique educational background, Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Biology and Conservation Law Enforcement from Unity College in Maine before shifting her focus to mental health and earning her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Plymouth State University. This diverse path reflects her broad understanding of both people and the environments that shape them, adding depth to her clinical perspective.
Jennifer has experience working with individuals across a range of ages and needs, helping patients navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and other problematic behaviors. She partners with her patients to identify obstacles and build the practical skills and emotional resilience necessary for lasting progress.
“Everyone deserves support, and everyone deserves a safe space to grow,” Jennifer Michaud, CMHC shares. “My goal is to create that space through connection, compassion, and a focus on each person’s unique experience.”
Jennifer’s connection to Mid-State began during her graduate studies, when she completed her clinical internship with the organization. That experience solidified her commitment to working in a setting that prioritizes not just patient care, but also community well-being.
Jennifer will be providing behavioral health services across several Mid-State locations, including the Boulder Point Office in Plymouth, and the Bristol Office.
