Mid-State Health Center is excited to welcome Emerson Kelby, CMHC, LICSW, to its Behavioral Health team. Emerson will care for patients at both the Plymouth and Bristol locations, expanding access to vital mental health services in the region and making it easier for patients to receive care close to home.
Emerson brings a compassionate, patient-centered approach to his work, supporting individuals and families through a wide range of needs including anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, grief and loss, relationship and communication challenges, family counseling, and more. He is dedicated to meeting patients where they are, creating a space where they feel heard, supported, and empowered to take an active role in their care.
His approach is supported by a strong educational background. Emerson earned his Master of Social Work from the University of New Hampshire, along with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Plymouth State University and an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice from Southern Maine Community College. This foundation supports his thoughtful, flexible approach to care and his ability to connect with patients across a variety of needs.

My role is to guide and support them as we work through challenges together and build the tools they need to move forward.”
Emerson’s addition strengthens Mid-State’s integrated model of care, where behavioral health providers work closely with primary care teams and other services to ensure coordinated, whole-person support.
