September is Recovery Month, a time to recognize the strength of individuals and families affected by substance use and to raise awareness about the importance of accessible, compassionate support throughout the recovery journey.
Recovery is a personal journey, and there is no single path that works for everyone. For many people, recovery can involve overcoming challenges, rebuilding relationships, developing healthy coping skills, and finding the right combination of support and treatment. Having access to compassionate, nonjudgmental care can make an important difference in helping individuals take the next step toward a healthier and more fulfilling life.
At Mid-State Health, individuals experiencing substance use concerns can find support through RISE Recovery, a program designed to meet people where they are and provide services based on their individual needs. RISE helps individuals experiencing substance use concerns, including alcohol, opioid, and other substance use disorders.
RISE Recovery offers a range of services, including Substance Use Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), individual counseling, case management and care coordination, recovery support and connections to community resources. The program can also help individuals navigate treatment and other recovery needs providing support that extends beyond a single level of care.
“Recovery is not a one-size-fits-all process, and everyone’s path is different, said Andrea Sobolov, MA, LCMHC, Clinical Coordinator of Recovery Services at Mid-State Health. “Our role is to help each person find the support that makes sense for them.”
Recovery is possible, and asking for help is an important first step. RISE Recovery is committed to making supportive, accessible care available to individuals and families throughout the community.
