Free community event will help local families understand what is changing, when, and how it may affect them

Speare Memorial Hospital and Mid-State Health Center are teaming up to help our neighbors make sense of upcoming changes to Medicaid brought on by new state and federal laws.

Everyone is welcome to What Granite Staters Need to Know About Changes to Medicaid, a community conversation on Tuesday, August 18, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Plymouth Regional Senior Center.

Medicaid is changing, and it can be hard to keep track of what those changes mean for you and your family. This event, presented by NH Medicaid Matters, will walk through what is already in effect and what is still to come. It is built as a conversation, not a lecture, so you will have plenty of time to ask questions and share how these changes are affecting your household and our community.

The evening may be especially useful for Medicaid members, family members and caregivers, healthcare professionals, and anyone who helps someone enrolled in Medicaid. But you do not need a special reason to come. If you are curious or concerned, this event is for you.
