Pharmacy Update: Rite Aid Closures in New Hampshire

May 14, 2025 | News

You may have heard that all Rite Aid Pharmacy locations across New Hampshire are closing. If you currently fill your prescriptions at Rite Aid, we want to ensure a smooth transition by sharing the steps needed to move your prescriptions to another pharmacy and avoid any interruptions in accessing your medications.

What to Do Next:

  1. Contact your insurance provider to determine which pharmacies are in-network for prescription coverage.
  2. Choose a new pharmacy and share your personal and insurance information with them.
  3. Request a “Profile Transfer” from Rite Aid to your new pharmacy. This can typically be initiated by your new pharmacy but must be authorized by you.

Please note: Mid-State Health Center staff cannot initiate prescription transfers on behalf of patients. Patients must contact the pharmacy directly.
