Observing Alcohol Awareness Month: Mid-State Highlights Personalized Recovery Through RISE

Apr 3, 2025 | News

April marks Alcohol Awareness Month, a time to shed light on the impact of alcohol use disorder, reduce stigma, and encourage those struggling to seek help. Alcohol misuse affects millions of individuals and families across the country, leading to serious health risks, strained relationships, and diminished quality of life. Many who struggle with alcohol use disorder may feel isolated or unsure where to turn for support, but recovery is possible. Mid-State Health believes that healing begins with awareness, education, and accessible treatment options. Alcohol Awareness Month serves as a reminder that resources are available, and individuals do not have to navigate the path to recovery alone.

Recovery is not a one-size-fits-all journey, RISE Recovery Services at Mid-State offers a variety of evidence-based treatment pathways that support individuals based on their unique needs, recognizing that each person’s experience with alcohol use is different. Their program is built on the foundation of peer support, evidence-based treatment, and strong community and family connections, ensuring that those seeking recovery have the tools and support necessary for long-term success. Whether someone is seeking help for the first time or continuing their journey, RISE provides a compassionate, individualized approach to care.

RISE offers affordable outpatient addiction treatment designed to address both the physical and emotional aspects of alcohol use disorder. Their services include medication-assisted treatment, intensive outpatient treatment, behavioral health counseling, and peer-based recovery support. Beginning with a comprehensive evaluation to understand each person’s unique needs and then develop a customized care plan tailored to their health goals and lifestyle. The RISE Recovery Team believes in empowering individuals and working closely with each person to explore the best recovery options and provide guidance every step of the way.

As we observe Alcohol Awareness Month, Mid-State Health encourages individuals and families to take this opportunity to learn more about the impact of alcohol use and the support available. Breaking free from alcohol dependence is possible, and help is within reach. If you or a loved one is struggling with alcohol use, RISE Recovery Services is here to provide the resources, treatment, and compassionate care needed to achieve a healthier future.
