Mid-State Health Center bid a fond farewell to long-time family practice clinician, Dr. Alan Rosen, in late August after 25 years with the health center.

Dr. Rosen graduated from Rutgers University in New Jersey, and from the Albany School of Medicine in New York. He completed his residency at Albany Medical Center Hospital, and became board certified in Family Practice in 1997, joining Mid-State that same year. Dr. Rosen has had an immeasurable impact to Mid-State and the community as both a family practice physician and mentor to other providers and staff alike.

Robert MacLeod, Mid-State Chief Executive Officer says, “Dr. Rosen was an integral part in building Mid-State’s compassionate practice. We cannot thank him enough for his contributions to the community, organization, and our team. We wish him all the best in this next chapter of his life.”

Please join Mid-State in wishing Dr. Rosen a happy retirement! As Dr. Rosen transitions to this new chapter, Mid-State is committed to helping his patients transition their care to another clinician in our practice.
