Mid-State Health Center is seeking a MLADC to join our team!!

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Responsible for developing, leading, implementing, and maintaining an IOP for the Central New Hampshire community.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Reports to the Director of Behavioral Health

SUPERVISION EXERCISED: Supervises theRecovery Services Coordinator and Recovery Support Specialist.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Facilitate the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), utilizing evidenced based program curriculum as well as incorporating individual service plan (ISP) goals of patients in to IOP treatment.
  2. Provide compassionate, nonjudgmental clinical treatment in accordance with the scope of practice.
  3. Complete biopsychosocial assessments
  4. Develop and facilitate therapy groups
  5. Coordinate care with collaterals and family members as needed
  6. Ensure timely and accurate documentation using the Electronic Medical Record.
  7. Cooperate and work with all members of the Mid-State Treatment and Recovery team to develop, formulate, implement and revise clinical programming
  8. Collaboration with other Behavioral Health and Medical Clinicians in an Integrated Care Model. 
  9. Provide recommendations to clinical staff and clinicians.
  10. Adhere to regulatory body standards and meet facility goals and objectives
  11. Other duties as assigned. 

The job holder must demonstrate current competencies applicable to the job position.

EDUCATION: Minimum MA/MS in Human Services field required.

Advanced training in substance misuse required.   

EXPERIENCE: Strong knowledge of substance misuse treatment modalities with a minimum of five years of experience in the field.

  1. Knowledge of current medical office practices and protocols.
  2. Knowledge of infection control, safety, and confidentiality practices.
  3. Strong communication and customer service skills.
  4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with concise and appropriate documentation.
  5. Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and complete assignments in timely manner.
  6. Skill in maintaining a safe work environment with attention to infection control, safety and confidentiality policies.
  7. Strong phone and computer skills.
  8. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and report any illegal or unethical act involving another employee or anyone acting on behalf of the organization.
  9. Ability to work collaboratively with all members of the health care team and promote a positive work environment.
  10. Ability to respond to ever changing environment reacts calmly and competently in emergency situations.
  11. Ability to maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff and the public.
  12. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person, in writing, and by phone.
  13. Ability to comply with established policies and procedures.
  14. Ability to recognize deviations from normal with respect to patient overall presentation and reports appropriately.
